The identity is built on the pillars of what was that old wine warehouse converted today into a cultural center of international renown. Working closely with all departments and areas of the center, specific tools and communication channels have been created that allow Azkuna Zentroa's extensive offering to be communicated in detail and efficiently to all audiences.

Today, Azkuna Zentroa is one of the centers most valued by citizens for its defense of ideological and cultural diversity, integration, freedom of opinion, equal opportunities, access to information and knowledge, and attention to minorities.

In 2018, Azkuna Zentroa received the Excellence Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) for "its work and contribution to the city of Bilbao."
