BODEGAS

CASA PRIMICIA

At the time when Bodegas Casa Primicia calls us to position its brand in the competitive wine market, the media only talks about famous architects who design spectacular wineries for renowned brands. We, together with the management of the winery, decided to choose just the opposite path, return to the roots and recover the history of wine before wine.

Many times, what at first seems like a disadvantage can become a great competitive advantage, this is how we build the positioning of Bodegas Casa Primicia. In an environment atomized by large wineries and renowned architects, the depth of history behind Bodegas Casa Primicia shows us the way to follow to build a valuable and unique brand promise.

We articulate the entire brand discourse under the umbrella of the Casa de la Primicia (11th century), the oldest civil building in the town of Laguardia, the capital of Rioja Alavesa. Casa Primicia is a magical place, a temple of wine, its well-preserved cellars are silent witnesses of the true history of wine.

Our work at Bodegas Casa Primicia starts by establishing the positioning and progresses by undertaking all the changes that we detect necessary to coherently build the traits and attributes of the brand's identity and personality.

During these years, Bodegas Casa Primicia has won numerous awards at a national and international level, being the only Spanish winery that in recent years has won the Grand Prix d'Honneur at the prestigious Bordeaux Fair and the award for the best European wine at the Japan Wine Challenge in Tokyo.

The recognition has also extended to the identity and image of the winery when in 2011 the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SF MOMA) selected and exhibited the Julian Madrid label as one of the best wine label designs in all time, a fact that causes demand for the brand to increase exponentially in the international market.
