Zabala Kafeak is a brand of traditional coffees. A brand that already belongs to Basque homes, baserriak (farmhouses), kitchens, and gastronomic societies. Mikel Zabala comes to URIBE, demonstrating his desire to update the brand, maintaining the spirit of tradition, of the Basque, but renewing the entire brand image.
URIBE investigates the context, the social and historical environment where Cafes ZABALA is consumed, taking as its starting point the exact epicenter of the act of drinking coffee: the table. e proposes an entire design strategy based on the graphic patterns of the traditional Basque fabrics used in tablecloths.
